APAC Region Talent Community Consent
This Privacy Statement seeks to explain how your personal data is processed in relation to Wells Fargo’s Talent Community.
Detailed information about why we process your personal data, our privacy practices, and your rights over your personal data and how to exercise them, may be found in the relevant Job Applicant Privacy Notice (“Notice”) for the country where you are seeking employment. References to the term “Job Applicant” in the Notice should be construed as including a participant in the Wells Fargo Talent Community.
To support your request to participate in our Talent Community, Wells Fargo may collect personal data such as your name, email, phone number, career stage, education level, business areas of interests, resumes/CVs, and other information directly or indirectly identifying you or persons related to you.
We may process your personal data for various purposes, including processing using AI-powered features that may produce AI-based outputs for you or Wells Fargo. These purposes of processing (separately each “Purpose”, or collectively the “Purposes”) are as follows:
- To facilitate your participation in Wells Fargo’s Talent community, which will allow your talent profile to be searchable by our network of recruiters and enable you to stay connected with Wells Fargo and be contacted about career opportunities (“Search & Contact Purpose”).
- To enrich your talent profile with information from other sources (e.g., your country or city of work) including publicly available sources to enhance its accuracy or completeness (“Enrichment Purpose”).
- To match you to suitable roles by adding you to job opportunity pools for a specific area, from which you may be contacted in relation to recruitment activities if relevant opportunities arise where you have indicated an interest in that specific area. For example, if you indicate interest in Project Management opportunities, the system may place you in a pool for Project Managers (“Match & Contact Purpose”).
To support Wells Fargo recruiters in finding and engaging prospective talent with skills that match job requisitions efficiently, recruiters are provided with AI-generated match scores based on the degree of similarity between prospects and job requisitions based on attributes such as role, skills, seniority, company industry and company size. Based on the match scores (not based on sensitive personal data such as race or ethnicity), recruiters receive AI-generated suggestions on prospects who may be considered for inclusion in prospect pools and/or contacted for relevant job opportunities. The AI support only enhances the productivity of talent sourcing, it is not the only source used to identify prospective talent, and does not impact hiring decisions. Wells Fargo does not use any fully automated decision-making processes in our recruiting, shortlisting, interviewing and hiring decisions, which are all made with meaningful human involvement at requisite stages. While we use AI or software tools to assist with processing applications, such tools do not make final decisions since every application is reviewed and assessed by our recruiters to ensure a fair and transparent process.
To fulfil the Purposes, we may transfer your personal data to other recipients, including entities within the Wells Fargo corporate group (non-exhaustive list(s) of such entities are available in the relevant Notice), and external vendors (such as Beamery) which provide talent sourcing and other support services to Wells Fargo. Recipients may be in countries outside your country of residence and may not be required to provide you with levels of data protection or redress comparable to the data protection laws in your country of residence. To the extent required by applicable data protection laws in the country where you are seeking employment, Wells Fargo will take steps to ensure that there are adequate safeguards in place before transferring your personal data to these recipients. - consent to the processing of your personal data under this Privacy Statement and the relevant Notice.
